The Gift of Creation

Unless you鈥檙e plugged into the French intellectual and philosophical scene, you鈥檝e almost certainly never heard of Fabrice Hadjadj 鈥 but one Hope College professor is working to change that. To introduce Hadjadj鈥檚 perspective on ecology to an English-speaking audience, Dr. Joshua Kraut is translating a collection of his essays and talks on that topic.

    The name of the endowed position held by economist Dr. Stephen Smith of the Hope College faculty has changed by just one word, but the difference reflects a major new way for Hope to honor and support professors who have leadership responsibilities along with their roles as teachers and scholars.

    Spring 2024 Dean's List Announced

    The Registrar鈥檚 Office is pleased to announce Dean鈥檚 List recipients for the spring semester. The Dean鈥檚 List is awarded to full-time, degree-seeking students who have received grades for all courses in a given semester (no incompletes) and have a semester GPA of 3.50 or above. Hope College Registrar鈥檚 Office considers this a significant achievement.
